  3.     Here  are  three  easy tips that will help you when sharing Pass-Around
  4.     software.

  7.     I. FUN AND EASY:

  9.     The  first thing to remember is Pass-Around is easy to use and  fun  to
  10.     share with others.

  13.     II. GET NAMES:

  15.     Always get a name, address, and phone number  of  the  people  you  are
  16.     giving disks to. Communicate with these people and let them know of any
  17.     new programs that are released.

  20.     III. PRINT FORMS:

  22.     After  you  have  entered  your  registration   number,   print   extra
  23.     registration  forms and give these out with your disks. This provides a
  24.     visual aid for your contacts, and encourages registration.

  30.                   SOME QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK ABOUT PASS-AROUND

  34.     Hardly. With thousands of personal computers sold each day and millions
  35.     already in use, the need for quality  and  reasonably  priced  programs
  36.     will only increase.

  38.     "Why should I register?"
  39.     There  are  many reasons to participate in Pass-Around. By providing an
  40.     income opportunity and  high  quality  software  to  personal  computer
  41.     users, the rate of registration has gone up dramatically (in comparison
  42.     to  shareware  industry  averages).  Income  from registrations goes to
  43.     support the authors who,  in  turn,  put  more  time  and  effort  into
  44.     programming.  This  "cycle"  of  events  raises the quality of software
  45.     available, compensates authors for their time and effort,  and  rewards

  50.     "How does Pass-Around work?"
  51.     Simply register a Pass-Around software program. When you register,  you
  52.     are  assigned  a personal registration number which you enter into your
  53.     copy of the program. Each time you share that program with a friend and
  54.     they register, your number will appear on their registration form. When
  55.     we receive that form or get the  numbers  by  phone,  your  account  is
  56.     credited $1.00. Every month accounts are processed and checks are sent.

  58.     "Can I get Pass-Around programs directly from PAS Software?"
  59.     Like shareware, Pass-Around is based  on  the  honor  system.  You  are
  60.     expected  and  encouraged to receive all PAS Software programs from the
  61.     individual or company that you originally received them  from.  If  the
  62.     program(s)  you  would  like  to  register  are not available from this
  63.     "source", you are encouraged to notify this  source  of  your  request.
  64.     Should  this source be unable or unwilling to comply with your request,
  65.     you are encouraged to locate the individual or company that passed  the
  66.     software  to  your  source  (thus  tracking  "upline"  to  receive  the
  67.     software). It may be necessary for you to contact PAS Software directly
  68.     for a distributor should all attempts  fail  to  determine  where  your
  69.     program originally came from.
